There is something of a tradition in The Corsairs of jumping into the coldest water you can find. Near the WATCH (west central Florida), the coldest water we are generally able to find is in the Gulf of Mexico at the end of January or in early February. This year we had a beautiful day with great weather and chilly water (right at 62 degrees F) yesterday (01/27/24), so we jumped in and, in the spirit of Anthony Blanche from Brideshead Revisited, we ‘sported a little and struck some attitudes’.
With water like that how could you not jump in.
