Just returned from a fairly brief road trip from the area of the WATCH (Tampa Bay) up through Florida, across lower Georgia, up to Birmingham, Alabama, and back again. Great weather, no real issues, and got to check out a couple of exceptional parks; Red Mountain Park (outside Birmingham) and Providence Canyon State Park (just south of Columbus, GA). Both are well worth checking out if you are in those necks of their respective woods.
